On Sunday afternoon, 49 classmates and 36 significant others descended on the home of Henry and Marie (Stone) Mores, starting at 1:00 pm. Everyone was treated to another reunion event highlighted by amazing camaraderie and good food.
Guests could munch from veggie trays, meat and cheese trays, cookies, and cake, and several classmates also brought appetizers to add to the mix.
It is hard to believe that classmates could still find things to discuss after spending hours together on Friday and Saturday; but none of us had any trouble holding up our end of the conversation.
Some guests swam, some shared photo albums, and some enjoyed sitting under the shade trees in the back yard. Other classmates found a spot to relax on the covered porch while other preferred the cool air conditioning of the house. Wherever one gathered, there were quickly three or four or more classmates who were willing to add to the conversation or to just quietly listen to all the "old" stories.
While some classmates did not stay the entire afternoon, a few of us reluctantly bid adieu to the weekend at about 7:00 pm. For us, the end of the reunion had come all too soon!
